EPCOT International Festival of the Arts - Entrance

Besides the well-nigh-too-pretty to eat food (I said almost ... ), our favorite aspect of the festival is taking in all of the amazingly talented artists. At that place are so many booths full of cute paintings for sale (Leap has to remind me that we actually don't accept the wall space for all of them) and lots of live performances to check out. In fact, nosotros're then hoppy that the Disney on Broadway Concert Series is back — we love seeing our favorite Disney classics sung by Broadway stars!

Overall, in my not-so-humble opinion, this festival is EPCOT's best. Amusement abounds with live performances, fine art being created on-site and so much more than. It's not only the Disney artists showcasing their art ... you can practice the correct side of your encephalon as well!

EPCOT International Festival of the Arts Diversity Acts

Art in Action

Everywhere you turn at the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, you'll find inspiration. Not being personally graced with artistic talent myself, watching fine art come alive is fascinating for me. Tons of artists can exist plant around the park, whether creating something new on the spot, talking with guests or signing their work. The creativity is truly astounding. What's even cooler is that you can purchase the pieces that you watched being created before your very optics!

EPCOT International Festival of the Arts - Artist signing

What's wonderful almost the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is that the fine art spans beyond Disney. We watched artists create both 2nd and 3D chalk art inspired by famous paintings in improver to beloved Disney characters. (Y'all can detect the Chalk Fine art Galleries on the bridge to Showcase Plaza.) There's almost 100 Disney and visiting artists displaying their piece of work,  so it'due south piece of cake to observe something for every Frog Family!

Be certain to check out "Drawing on Inspiration: Celebrating fifty Years of Magic" most Creations Store for amazing artwork of Disney World attractions, illustrated by Disney Imagineers. And keep an out for drawings of Disney characters hidden throughout World Showcase (our favorite ane is inspired by "Luca" nigh the fountain in Italia)!

EPCOT International Festival of the Arts - Broadway Concert Series: Adam and Arielle Jacobs

We're no Broadway connoisseurs, but this Frog Family has fallen in dearest with the Disney on Broadway Concert Series. Siblings Adam and Arielle Jacobs kicked off the 2022 series with a fun, energetic performance that showcased their powerful vocals! They sang hits from "High School Musical," "The Lion Male monarch" and "Aladdin." Getting to encounter a variety of Broadway stars perform at no additional cost really adds value to the festival for united states of america.

If you have theater-loving tadpoles in your family unit, y'all won't want to miss the testify. All of these performers will blow you away with their talent and have y'all singing all night long! If you've heard "We Don't Talk About Bruno" one too many times in your household this past month (we've all been there), accept no fright — these performers dig deep into Disney classics and offering a unique fashion. Our favorite part is hearing songs exclusive to the Broadway shows ... not included in the original films!

That means you tin can sing and trip the light fantastic every day of the week! Guide to Festival of the Arts - Artist Palette Jumbo Cookie from Refreshment Port

Not only is the food absolutely delicious, but the platters are oh-so-Instagram-worthy. Each snack and meal is a work of fine art both in taste and sight. Our favorite was the new Encanto booth, the empanadas were great (fair warning: there was a bit of a spicy boot to it) and the delicious Coconut and Passion Fruit Smoothie that Lily loved (plus nosotros kept the loving cup equally a gift!) Nosotros ever similar trying out the Deconstructed Dishes; nosotros enjoyed the Key Lime Pie a flake better than the deconstructed BLT. We all tried the Kebabs from Tangerine Cafe in Morocco (go for the chicken if worried most spice) while I sipped on the Chai Tea Mint Mimosa. The Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup from Pop Eats were also a hit with the tadpoles and Spring. The Palette Cookie from Refreshment Port is a perfect nod to this creative festival. We can't wait to try out more food and drink every bit we go along to visit the festival!

EPCOT International Festival of the Arts Tips and Tricks

EPCOT Int'l Festival of the Arts - Women Dressed Up

Here are our favorite tips for this year's EPCOT International Festival of the Arts:

  • Option up a free festival passport at the park entrance earlier yous head in. It was perfect for planning our day! Everything yous need to know is packed inside, including all of the Food Studios' menus and the locations for shows and activities (some showtimes can exist found in the My Disney Feel app).
  • Try scheduling your visit for Tuesday through Thursday mornings for lighter crowds. Locals tend to cease past on the weekends! Don't froget — if you're park hopping, you lot'll need a Disney Park Pass reservation for the get-go park you lot'll be visiting — so if that's EPCOT, you'll demand a Disney Park Pass reservation for EPCOT!

EPCOT International Festival of the Arts - Photo-op

  • Find interactive photo-ops throughout World Showcase. You and your tadpoles can become part of classic masterpieces for fun family photos!
  • Share your snacks! Many of the festival flavors are quite unique and rich. Some flavors may exist likewise intense to indulge in a full serving for yourself. Sample around the world and split, sip and savor flavors among your frog squad. This is the perfect way to innovate your little ones to heady new ingredients and teach them about the different cultures.
  • In general, all of the creative person tents and Food Studios are located by the primary path most the lagoon (rather than within the pavilions).
  • Take time to visit with the artists effectually World Showcase. Lookout them paint and chat with them! If art interests your tadpoles, this is a truly unique opportunity to show them where their creativity tin can take them. We loved seeing Lily inspired to make her own behemothic dreamcatcher, and Tad excited to go home and pigment his favorite "Star Wars" graphic symbol.
  • Visit the characters, who may even accept some art of their ain out on display or a special creative flair to their costume. We saw Pluto with a colorful collar on when we get-go arrived at the park!
  • If you lot're currently obsessed with "Encanto" (as most frog families are right now ... we can proudly admit that we listened to the soundtrack on our way to EPCOT), then you'll need to stop past Vibrante & Vívido: Encanto Cocina, betwixt Morocco and France. Even if you don't want something to consume or potable from the Food Studio, in that location are some signs throughout the queue and seating area that showcase information about concept art and musical inspiration from the new moving-picture show. Plus yous'll definitely discover yourself humming along to the instrumental versions of the catchy bops every bit you wait for your food and read the signs.

EPCOT International Festival of the Arts - Family

  • Don't froget about the other one-half of the Nutrient Studios menus — the drinks! Parents can enjoy specialty adult beverages (Leap had a tough time picking among the many beer and wine options), while the tadpoles can sip on something too!
  • Check out your usual food stops, such as Refreshment Outpost and Fife & Drum for more special EPCOT International Festival of the Arts food and beverages.
